When You Are Eligible To Retire
There are five types of retirement available under the plan:

v normal retirement
v early retirement
v late retirement
v vested terminated retirement
v disability retirement.

This section describes the eligibility requirements for each type of retirement. See How Your Retirement Benefit Is Calculated for information on how your age, years and hours of service affect the amount of your benefit.

Normal Retirement
You are eligible for normal retirement after you:

v reach age 60, and
v have at least five credited years of service.

Early Retirement
You are eligible for early retirement after you:

v reach age 57, and
v have at least five credited years of service.

Late Retirement
Late retirement is anytime after age 60, if you have at least five credited years of service.

Vested Terminated Retirement
You are eligible for vested terminated retirement after you have at least five credited years of service. To receive a vested terminated retirement benefit, you must reach an eligible age to retire under the plan.

Disability Retirement
You are eligible for disability retirement after you:

v have at least five credited years of service
v provide medical confirmation of your total disability.
